  • Hello! I’m a Landscape Architect and Planner based in the Mid-Atlantic region, with experience spanning both locally and internationally. I am a Partner at Monteverde Engineering & Design Studio in downtown Harrisonburg, VA, while also independently consulting on projects beyond Virginia. Partnerships include public and private stakeholders, along with multi-disciplinary teams, in providing Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, and Land Planning services.

    I am passionate about connecting thoughtfully designed places with the people who bring them to life. I believe that authentic relationships and open collaboration are at the heart of meaningful design—enabling projects that create a lasting, positive impact on the social, cultural, and economic vibrance of a community.

    Throughout my career, I’ve worked to blend creativity, practicality, and story-telling—designing places that maximize the client’s vision while limiting disturbance and honoring the site’s surrounding context and history. My experience spans a range of project types and scales, including public vision and master plans, planned neighborhoods, mixed-use developments, retail and commercial districts, institutional and medical campuses, urban streetscapes, greenways, parks, plazas, and more! My work remains rooted in the belief that every project carries restorative potential—creating places that renew the environment and foster stronger, more resilient communities.
